A teenage boy seriously injured in a shooting late Monday in Philadelphia is now fighting to survive.
The 15-year-old was shot twice when two men opened fire in the Carroll Park neighborhood around 11:40 p.m., Philadelphia Police confirmed to the Daily News Tuesday.
The victim was shot in his groin and right torso. He is currently listed in critical condition at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
At the time of the incident — which saw a total of 14 shots fired — the teen was walking with a pair of friends, one juvenile and one in his twenties. Neither of his pals were injured.
Both suspects are Black males who were wearing all black and stand between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-1.
No arrests have been made. A motive is not yet known and a search for the suspects is underway.
