A man was shot and wounded during a confrontation with a group of other men inside a Brooklyn subway station early Saturday, police said.

The incident happened at 4:25 a.m. on the southbound platform for the B and Q trains inside the 7th Ave-Flatbush Ave. station in Park Slope.

The 29-year-old victim was shot in the left ankle and taken to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he is in stable condition. He has refused to talk to detectives about what happened, a police source said.

After the shooting, the suspects ran out of the station and are still on the loose. They were likely captured on surveillance video, the source said.

Three shell casings were recovered at the scene.
