At least 12 people died and dozens were hurt when a plane crashed shortly after takeoff Friday morning in Kazakhstan.
The Bek Air aircraft had 100 people aboard when it hit a concrete fence and a two-story building at about 7:22 a.m. at Almaty International Airport.
Flight Z2100 “lost altitude” about 19 seconds after takeoff, authorities said.
