Angelina Jolie Packed a Minimalist Wardrobe for Her Trip to Paris

In Paris to speak at the Guerlain x UNESCO “Women for Bees” program, Jolie balanced appointments tied to her role as a Guerlain ambassador with family time. Joined by her kids Shiloh, Zahara, Pax, and Knox, the star used her first day to take in the “World of Banksy” exhibition at Espace Lafayette Drouot before enjoying a bit of shopping at Kith’s Paris flagship. While out, Jolie wore the tailored silk and wool suit from Hearst’s Resort 2022 collection for Chloé with matching wide-legged pants. Later that day, she ditched the jacket, wearing a simple white T-shirt with her statement-making trousers.

It wouldn’t be a celebrity trip without multiple outfit changes, and Jolie kept things interesting by switching it up every time she stepped out. To pop into the Guerlain store, she chose a cream version of The Row’s cotton poplin “Tanita” shirtdress, a demure piece detailed with mother of pearl buttons and a waist-cinching belt. Dinner near the Eiffel Tower meant going monochromatic in head-to-toe black. Jolie quickly changed into Hearst’s silk twill Evelyn Dress worn and a pair of strappy stiletto heels. Worn beneath an oversized cardigan coat, the understated outfit allowed the playful streetwear worn by her children to take center stage.

To honor the “Women for Bees,” initiative Jolie kept things classic. The program at the French Apidology Observatory is designed to empower women by teaching them beekeeping skills, including how to operate a professional apiary. Naturally, that meant Jolie had some fun trying out a beekeeper uniform and getting hands-on with the students. Afterward, she changed into a piece from Hearst’s carbon-neutral spring/summer 2020 show. A deceptively simple beige silk poplin slip, the “Quillaume” dress Jolie donned features an open back with a series of knotted ties and a full skirt. Honey-colored with delicate detailing and sourced from a collection with an environmental focus, the look was the perfect choice for the occasion.
